Escape from Mogadishu

 It’s getting closer to Oscar season. And it’s the time when award-winning movies are starting to show up in our homes. (Despite the home of the story that has dropped out of the charts) Like last month, I saw Japanese movies like Drive My Car and Thai movies like Rang Song, which were nominated for an international film Oscar. Now it’s time for South Korea to bring its thriller drama inspired by real events, Escape from Mogadishu.

Escape from Mogadishu tells the story of a South Korean embassy official, Han Shin Sung, who attempts to make friends with the Somali government in 1991. To gain a position in the United Nations. Meanwhile, they have to deal with lobbies on the North Korean side led by Rim Yong-soo as both sides face off. It was around the same time that the rebels toppled Somalia's dictatorial government. Set yourself up against the embassy that supports the government. That makes the two nations that used to turn their backs on each other work together on an ad hoc basis.

Although some people define it as the South Korean version of Argo. But the part didn’t feel that way. The story moves in a straight line. Insert a little joke. The emotional crushing through the Civil War scenes was very well done. Especially the scene of escaping death in the middle of Mogadishu, which is the climax of the story. It’s a thrill that makes you feel like you won’t be able to pick up the cushion without it. As an action movie, it doesn’t have to be difficult to tell through the storyline, passing through Miami cityscapes and luxury cars, and inserting ear-piercing action scenes. And, of course, the jokes that the two characters bring to each other’s mouths are fierce and laugh-out-loud.

The unexpected good part is that the movie’s decision to make the two main characters’ dimensions look more bloody than in previous installments, as two stinging partners. All in all, Bad Boys for Life is a fantastic action movie that retains the vibes and trademarks of the first two films. Even if the director has changed, the movie still offers unexpected aspects and dimensions of the characters. It might take some time to put the story up and to sequence it. นี่ไม่ใช่เรื่องที่ดูมีประโยชน์ หรือ น่าสนใจอะไรกับผู้ที่ “เคยผ่านภาวะต้องเข้าใจ” มาแล้ว แต่คนที่ไม่เคยหรือย้อนนึกไปตอนที่เรายังไม่เจอเหตุการณ์ ประสบการณ์ หรือบทเรียนที่ทำให้เราเข้าใจ มันเป็นเรื่องที่ยากจะมองเห็นหรือรู้ตัวได้ในตอนนั้น…

กล่าวกันแบบไม่คิดมากทางข้อจำกัดของภาษา “ชีวิตรัก” คือการใช้ชีวิตร่วมกันในช่วงภาวะที่มีอารมณ์ความรู้สึกเกี่ยวข้องสูงและเพิ่งคบกันไม่นาน ส่วน “ชีวิตคู่” คือการใช้ชีวิตในภาวะที่ปกติแบบชีวิตต้องดำเนินไป ใช่ว่าสองแบบนี้จะแยกกันขาดชัดเจนหรือเป็นขั้วตรงข้ามกัน แต่น้ำหนักของบางอย่างจะเปลี่ยนแปลงและเปลี่ยนไปได้เสมอ

คุณเคยสงสัยหรือไม่ว่าทำไมเราไม่มีโอกาสเหมือนคนอื่น? หรืออย่างที่เขาว่ากันทุกคนมีโอกาส..โอกาสเราเท่ากันจริงหรือ? บางคนบอกว่าสามารถสร้างโอกาสได้ แล้วไปทำอะไรมาตั้งนานแล้ว

   มาแก้คำถามนี้จากมุมมองหนึ่งกัน หรือเปลี่ยนทัศนคติที่มีต่อคำว่า "โอกาส" เรามาดูบทความนี้กันดีกว่าว่าบางครั้งหลังจากอ่านแล้วคุณจะมี "โอกาส"

   จากคำถามข้างต้นสามารถตอบได้ก่อนว่า เรามีโอกาสเหมือนคนอื่นๆ เพราะเราทุกคนล้วนมีโอกาส ส่วนโอกาสเท่ากันหรือไม่ก็วัดกันยากเพราะโอกาสของเราต่างกัน (ความต้องการที่แตกต่างกัน) และเราสามารถสร้างโอกาสได้! แต่เรายังคงสงสัยหรือไม่มั่นใจเพราะขาด “เครื่องมือช่วยเหลือ” บางอย่าง…

   ประการแรก ผู้คนคิดว่าพวกเขาไม่มีโอกาส เพียงเพราะมองไม่เห็น..ซึ่งสิ่งที่มองไม่เห็น ก็เพราะคนไม่เห็นต่าง. หรือไม่เท่ากัน...

   แง่บวก: ในที่นี้ต้องประกอบด้วยสติ ไม่ใช่ทุกวิกฤตมีโอกาส แต่ถ้ามองทุกอย่างในแง่ลบ เราก็จะทำตัวเหมือนเต่าเอาหัวซุกซ่อนรอเรื่องเลวร้ายให้ผ่านพ้นไป ซึ่งไม่ใช่สิ่งที่ผิด แต่ถ้าเป็นกรณีนี้เราจะดูได้อย่างไรว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้น? แม้ว่าโอกาสแรกที่เรามีคือการเรียนรู้ ประสบการณ์ และการยอมรับในวิกฤต

   แต่ถ้าไม่แคร์ มันอาจจะผ่านไปแล้วผ่านไปอีก ดังตัวอย่างเดิม ถ้าคุณต้องพร้อมที่จะลงทุน แล้วเราก็ใช้เงินไปกับความต้องการผิวเผินไม่เหลืออะไรให้เก็บสะสม (บวกหนี้) คิดว่าทุกอย่างจะเรียบร้อยตลอดไป เมื่อถึงเวลาก็จะบ่นว่า "นี่ถ้ามีเงิน..."

   หรือไม่ใช่แค่เรื่องเงิน? คนที่ไม่พร้อมจะพูดแต่ว่า “ถ้าอย่างนั้น” อันที่จริงแล้ว สิ่งที่เราควรบอกตัวเองคือ “ถ้าเราใส่ใจ…” เราอาจคิดถึงเรื่องนี้และเผื่อไว้บ้าง โดยปล่อยให้พื้นที่ เวลา และทรัพยากรพร้อมเมื่อโอกาสมาถึง สุดท้ายเพราะความละเลยนี้บางทีนั่นอาจเป็นเหตุผลว่าทำไมเราถึงบอกว่าไม่มีโอกาสเหมือนเขา..

   ปัญญา: นี่คือองค์ประกอบสุดท้ายของแว่นตาวิเศษนี้ ที่อาจมีความสำคัญและอธิบายยากที่สุด เพราะปัญญาไม่ใช่ปัญญา คือการเห็นโอกาสจากความรู้ ประสบการณ์ มุมมองต่างๆ ซึ่งต้องนำมาผสมผสานกับบวกและห่วงใยอย่างไม่ต้องสงสัย เพราะถ้ามองในแง่ลบ คุณจะไม่สามารถคิดอะไรดีๆ ขึ้นมาได้ และเมื่อไม่ใส่ใจ คุณก็จะไม่มีความรู้เรื่องใดเรื่องหนึ่งเช่นกัน..

   ปัญญาบางครั้งมาในรูปของความคิดสร้างสรรค์ การต่อยอด การเห็นช่องทางหรือแนวคิดในการทำอะไรบางอย่าง ที่อาจเกิดขึ้น และอาจไม่เกิดขึ้นเลย แต่การฝึกฝนสามารถเพิ่มความฉลาดได้ แต่แต่ละวันที่ผ่านไป เราได้เรียนรู้อะไรมากขึ้น? เราใช้ชีวิตอย่างไร เราสนใจอะไร และเรากำลังคิดอะไรอยู่? กินอะไร ซื้ออะไร ไปเที่ยวที่ไหน? ไม่ผิด แต่ถ้าอยู่อย่างนี้ตลอดไป ปัญญาอะไรก็ไม่เกิด..

   เช่น ร้านอาหารเปิดใกล้บ้าน ขายดีคับคั่งด้วยคน คนที่ "คิดลบ" จะคิดทันทีว่าจะขายได้ดีแค่ไหน ฉันจะเลิกขี้เกียจได้แล้ว คนที่ "ไม่แคร์" จะมองแต่คุณเท่านั้น อยากลองบ้าง หรือไม่ไปกิน เกินไป m

หรือบางคนอาจมองทันทีว่าเป็นโอกาสที่อาหารเป็นที่นิยม เราควรขายบ้าง หรือเปิดร้านขนม ร้านน้ำใกล้ๆ เพื่อสร้างลูกค้าจากเขาก็ไม่เลว ฯลฯ…

   ถึงแม้ว่าผมจะไม่สามารถยกตัวอย่างที่ละเอียดและครอบคลุมได้ แต่ผมเชื่อว่ามันน่าจะเพียงพอแล้วที่จะ "มองเห็น" ว่าโอกาสนั้น เริ่มจากการที่เรามองสิ่งต่างๆ รอบตัวเราด้วยสายตาแบบไหนที่เราใส่แว่นเพื่อดูโอกาส คุณสวมมันหรือไม่?

"กล้า" พาตัวเองเข้าใกล้จุดนั้นมากขึ้น เพราะถึงแม้วันนี้คุณยังไม่ได้ แต่ก็ดีกว่าไม่มีเลย.. (อย่างน้อยก็เรียนวิชานั้นไปตลอดก็คุ้มกับโอกาส)

   ทนทาน : และเพราะไม่มีอะไรได้มาง่ายๆ ถุงมือที่จะคว้าโอกาสนี้จึงควรมีความทนทานเช่นกัน และคว้ามันไว้ แต่มันก็ยังลอยหายไป ถ้าจับไม่แน่นพอ ไม่อดทนพอ “ถุงมือนี่ความอุตสาหะ” เราต้องอดทนให้พอ จนกว่าโอกาสที่ดีจะมาถึงเพราะทุกสิ่งมีอุปสรรค

   เหมือนภาพการ์ตูนที่คุณชอบแบ่งปัน มีคนขุดดินจนเกือบพบสมบัติแล้วก็ยอมแพ้ ในชีวิตจริงไม่มีใครรู้ ในระหว่างนี้ ทางที่ดีควรพัฒนา เรียนรู้ ปรับปรุง แม้ว่าจะมีโอกาสเกิดขึ้นก็ตาม อย่าคิดว่ามันจะอยู่กับเราตลอดไปโดยไม่ทำอะไรเลย ซึ่งอาจจะยังเป็นเพียง "โอกาสเริ่มต้น" เท่านั้น จะดำเนินต่อไปหรือไม่? ฉันยังไม่รู้ นี่เป็นอีกเหตุผลหนึ่ง ซึ่งทำให้หลายคนมองข้ามโอกาสนี้อีกครั้ง เพียงเพราะคุณคิดว่า

ถ้าตายังมองแต่ชีวิตคนอื่น ชีวิตคนอื่น สองมือนี้ก็ยังไม่สามารถจัดสรร "การกระทำ" หรือทำงานให้คนอื่นได้ทั้งวันและไม่เอาอะไรเลย ฉันไม่ได้ทำเพื่อตัวเองจริงๆ เมื่อไหร่จะมีโอกาสแบบนี้ บอลสเต็ป ufa189
